Extra and Co-Curricular's

Here at Northern, we encourage extra-curricular involvement in our music program. We offer many different instrumental and vocal ensembles to allow for a lot of practise and creative expression. Students also have the opportunity of starting their own ensembles, such as our current two string quartets and our saxophone quartet have done. Being involved in extra-curricular music is a great opportunity to meet new people, get to know each other better, and make great music. Students showcase their work at the three school concerts each year, and some ensembles are selected to perform at the TDSB's Secondary School Concert held at Massey Hall each year.
