Facilities

Northern’s auditorium, which seats 850, is the site of the school’s public performances such as the annual Mainstage production. Students have the opportunity to practise and perform on a professionally designed stage with state-of-the-art lighting and sound. The auditorium has been recently upgraded with new drapes and equipment. There are change rooms, booths and storage areas for behind-the-scene activities.

Northern has two drama studios: a senior studio and a junior studio. The senior studio is larger, accommodating 125 persons, but both spaces have state-of-the-art lighting and sound equipment on which students can learn and practice special effects. The junior studio is the site of props and costume storage.
